Red, white, and blue tags

I made 6 Red, white and blue tags for a swap in my online art group, AAWA. I thought that I'd share them with you on my blog so that you could see them too.  Of course you know, I'm going to have to make some extra of these so that I can scrapbook those great balloon pictures!

Freedom Weekend Aloft in my neighborhood

We have a big hot air ballon festival right here in our town for Memorial day. Most of the time we don't go to the park to see the balloons because they come to us! This year one landed right next to our pasture. Sunday they were back and one came over so close we talked to them but they landed in our neighbors yard across the street. It was a very exciting weekend!

Rose and Jazz watching the balloons Saturday morning while Daisy,  the goat watches from a "safe" place.
This  balloon landed in our neighbor's yard right next to our pastures.
Here is the crew of the ReMax balloon and that's my neighbor in her PJs not wanting to miss anything taking pictures.
 The balloon going down.

Keeping the balloon tight so that they can roll it up.
 Milking the balloon.
Sunday they were back and landing everywhere but in our yard!
There goes another one down two houses from ours.
More are landing around the bend from our house.

canvases

Recently I have been doing some canvases. I did one for a Christmas gift for a friend and she loved it. Then I did one for myself and I love it and have it in my dining room to enjoy. Then I did a canvas for a young friend of mine that has a new Paris theme room. She too, seemed to love her canvas. I just love doing these and you just might see more in the future because they are so much fun!

Here is the canvas that was a Christmas present for a friend. The small white writting says, "She loved bling."

Here is the canvas that was done for my young friend with the Paris themed room. After this picture was taken I did add a small butterfly to the righthand corner.

And this is my very own canvas.
