Good Morning Sunshine for Mix It Monthly - theme color blocking

This is my mixed media art for Mix it Monthly where the theme this month is color blocking. This little girl is drawn onto tissue paper and put over the colors in my art journal.
She definitely has bed head but I hope that you enjoy seeing her in all her imperfectness.

What a very sweet drawing and lovely story, and that's a clever technique which has worked very well.

You made a good job with this picture. Your girl looks like lots of us in the morning with bad hairs and tired brain and longing for the first coffee. ;)
I like it!

Sooo sweet Nancy! She seems to had wonderful dreams! Great idea to paint on a tissue and later on glued on, so no worries for ruin the background if it not fits...your girl is so darling and how I love the background is showing through her pyjama :) like in real life when we wake up and are half here and half in dreamland ;) Mix It Monthly ♥ Conny
