Art for Jeri

I've got a new laptop and finally back to posting art again. Here are 2 pieces for my friend, Jeri. The Scarlet Paige one is for her Grandmother's book and the America one if for the lottery in our online art group, An Affair With Art, that she won this month. Whoever wins the lottery picks something that she'd like the girls to do for her. Jeri's theme was a 4th of July theme. It just might be because her birthday is very close to the 4th. I hope she enjoys both and I hope she has a very Happy Birthday. A group of us girls from South Carolina will be flying to Texas in July very soon to go to the Artfull Gathering that our group has every year. We are so excited and cannot wait!

Projects that I am finally getting to

I am trying to clean up my art room and do some projects that are everywhere in my room. These are projects that I've just been itching to get to and haven't had the time.





This is some earring that I made from beads that were a gift to me from Elaine in my online art group. I won them in Elaine's blog candy and have just been dying to use these beads. There are more wonderful beads in the bag that she sent me and I'll share as I make something with them.
A scan just shows everything that you miss and I will close up that earring!



This is a charm braclet that is made from charms that my online art group, an affair with art made. The butterfly charms are shrinky dink charms that I made. They are different than the charms that I made for this swap but I put those charm in that really special place. You know that place that you cannot remember where it's at. They will show up at some point but I had two extra charms that I made for another swap at our local altered book club.

TMTA - Little Girl and Every Inchie Monday - Solitude

This is my inchie for this week for Every Inchie Monday where the theme is solitude. I spent some time alone resting at my Son and Daughter-in-law's house and they have wonderful big, old trees. It was so leafy and cool and restful so I decided to do a leaf for my inchie. It is stamped with a real leaf with white paint and I wrote the word with my caligraphy pen.

















This is my ATC for Think Monday - Think ATC where the theme is Little Girl. I think she is so cute and I imagine she has a blue sailor suit dress on so I put her on blue.

Don't you just love beautiful brides? And the world just saw a lovely wedding so I decided to do a bride for my altered tin for my AAWA group. If you'd like to see what the back says, you can click on the picture.
