Ezekiel - dry bones and Altered Nest

I made a canvas with a skeleton to illustrate a passage in Ezekiel about dry bones and our art group wanted us to do an altered nest. The words on the painting say, "Thus says the Lord God to these bones, Behold I will cause breath to enter you and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and I will cause flesh to come upon you and you shall live and you shall know that I am the lord." ~Ezekiel 37:5-6.
The nest in the tin is a real nest made out of our horses' mane and tail hair. We think it might be a hummingbird nest because it is so small and delicate. I did not alter the nest too much because it is so delicate. Everyone who sees these tiny creations find it hard to believe that the birds really did create it but they do and they blow out of our trees and we find them on the ground. I always try to save them because they are so pretty to me.

Wow, birds are such amazing creatures. I've never seen a nest of hair, very interesting! Your canvas is quite fun and interpretative - well done!

The canvas is so creative and imaginative. Very cool.
And I have loved bird's nests since forever. Love the tin idea for it.
